Lucrezia Borgia 24th, 25th & 30th November and 1st & 2nd December Following last April’s success of Frankenstein, Lemonhead Productions is preparing its next theatrical effort. This time round is the turn of Lucrezia Borgia, an original piece penned by producer Bryan Muscat. The play, to be directed by Noel Tanti, revolves around the notorious woman who, according to some, is believed to be the second most cruel female after Eve. However, the facts about her life are murky at best and most of the callousness she is accused of may well be the fabrications of hearsay and gossip. What is known is that she was closely related to some controversial figures residing in the Vatican and that her life was intricately woven and shaped by the politics of the time. The play, starring Michelle Bonnici, Neville Refalo and Sandro Vella, is going to be held at the St. James Cavalier during the last weekend of November and beginning of December.
